I’ve been working with integrating Bitcoin (and Lightning) payment options into a few websites. I was wondering how popular it is (or isnt)?
For me, i see value in avoiding up to 3% fees compared to other payment providers – but if there’s no client base then there’s obviously no benefit there.
It’s also pretty handy really for international transactions where users may not have PayPal, visa, Amex etc..
Anyway just curios on what way the sentiment may be going.

I would personally never touch payment processing, and will happily pay someone like stripe a small fee to handle compliance and payment details.
As for crypto, I’m not personally a fan, so I wouldn’t choose to accept it as payment. That’s a decision for you to make (with your client if you have one).
I’ve installed XRP as the gateway on BotanicalCircle.com. Still working on the site but it’s cheaper than traditional gateway methods. Go for it!!!
