How quickly or easily can I pick up WordPress if I’m already somewhat familiar with HTML, CSS and Javascript?

[ad_1]

I already asked this question on another subreddit and while I did receive some great answers, I wanted to get the opinions of the people on this sub as well. P.S.: I'm in the process of learning PHP as well.

I have a few months of HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript under my belt. This might sound corny, but I've completed all the Newbie and Junior-level challenges on FrontEndMentor for practice. I'm thinking about transitioning to WordPress and Shopify soon after I'm satisfied with my JS and PHP skills, since my main goal is to become a freelance developer building personal websites, corporate business sites for small businesses (I might have a few clients already lined up for this thanks to friends and family), professional blog sites and ecommerce websites.

So, would it be easier to pick up WordPress/Shopify considering my familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript? Also, will my understanding of those programming languages allow me to build "prettier" and more interactive websites using WordPress/Shopify?

Thanks in advance for your responses.
