How to add Google Analytics to website when I only have Editor permission

[ad_1]

Hello everyone,

I can’t seem to find any results for this. Sure, there are plenty of results for “how to add Google Analytics” to WordPress. Most of them involve either MonsterInsights or Insert Headers and Footers plugins. That’s fine, but here is my issue:

I can’t seem to figure out how to activate it when I’m not the owner of the account, but “access” has been granted me at Editor level (means you can’t add users) in the Google Analytics dashboard.

Around 2019, I’m pretty sure all you needed was a “UA” number and you could slap that in MonsterInsights and activate tracking that way. But, now MI and pretty much every other promising plugin I’m seeing “seems” to require “sign in with your Google account” authentication instead.

Also, based on my reading I think “Editor” level in Google would be plenty sufficient. But, I’m seeing no tutorials or instruction on ***how to install / activate GA in WordPress without having ownership of the GA account***. Help!
