I have an image on my website that looks great on desktop. But I would like to use a cropped version on mobile devices. I can’t seem to find a setting for this however. Im using the default WordPress builder and I do not have access to plugins at the time. Is this something I will have to do using custom code?

For as far as I know, WordPress.com is not the way to go.
Better do the Wordpess.ORG or get your own hosting.
In that way you can do a whole lot more!
