I would like to know if there are any plugins which would allow me to change the name of my theme. Maybe a whitelabel plugin of sorts? I tried searching but none seems to have that functionality.
You can just edit the style.css file in the theme’s directory to change the visual name of the theme. Changing the theme name in this way will not have any bearing on functionality.
If you don’t have server access (i.e., FTP), you can probably edit the style.css under Appearance -> Theme Editor. If you don’t see that option, it’s probably been disabled in the configuration file (or via a security plug-in).
Please don’t install a plug-in to do this, WordPress sites usually have enough plug-in bloat as it is.
