I run a small business that specializes in WordPress website development and have a question regarding the correct procedure in quoting a client for website maintenance.
Now we quote the client based on an hourly rate and estimate how long it would take to complete the maintenance.
My question is, how do we account for issues that arise from updating the website like the following:
· Plugins that are or cant be updated, causing the website to crash?
Would it be reasonable for me to suggest including in our Terms and Conditions, as well as in our quotes and emails, a clause stating that if any issues arise from updating your website, we will provide a new quote before proceeding with any work?
