How to create a correct sitemap for a domain that has 2 wordpress sites, each in a subfolder?

Hi there, I have a site for a venue which has a location in 2 cities. Each location is different enough to warrant being a separate site. So we have 2 WordPress installs, each in a subfolder.

[somebusiness.com/location1])
[somebusiness.com/location2])

If someone goes to [somebusiness.com]) they will be shown a static page which asks them to “choose a location”.

Can anyone recommend a good way to have an accurate sitemap at [somebusiness.com]) which includes content from the 2 subfolder sites?
