So I have a website which has a published page already. I want to change some of the theme colors and overall make changes to the page but without updating the page immediately, rather I want to work on a draft that’s not published. I’ve copied the published page to a draft, but I cannot customize colors on the draft, only on the published page. I follow Appearance > Customize > Colors and Backgrounds, and it always updates the published page. I then go into Gutenberg to make other edits. My current theme is Rockfield, if that helps at all.
Is there a way to differentiate customization between the published page and the draft page? If so, how?
