I am looking into developing something similar to the milliondollarhomepage.com but instead of having people email in to buy pixels or even use PayPal, I want it to be interactive and update in real time. For example, someone would go on the site, select the pixels that they want and then pay through their payment processor or through crypto, then it updates on the site in real time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
It’s rather ambitious with my skill set, so if anyone also knows anyone who’d be up for a project, do let me know!

Not really WordPress related in topic, just a general webdevelopment question.
Learn a backend language of your choice, some HTML, CSS, JS and a database language that supports your backend language.
Back in the day, those sites were mostly manual updates. Be cool to see your concept in action. You don’t need WP to do that, necessarily. You have to start somewhere, though, right? Just do it. Build an HTML wireframe and go from there. At least design the thing visually first. Figma or XD are good options for that phase.
