How to disable default wordpress site padding?

[ad_1]

Hello guys, please help me out on my issue.

I have this [“Contact us” HTML box]). [The code.]) It looks fine on [desktop]), but not on [mobile]). I decided to add media query so the box is full width on mobile phones. But here comes the problem…

The theme i use ([VisionArt]), also I am using a **child theme**) adds extra padding on the page borders, precisely [this style]). I tried many different ways to disable this padding **only** for the box but it would produce [unwanted results]) (the header gets outside the screen as the padding covers the **entire body**).
In inspector tool, if I disable that style, the box behaves correctly, **but** when i actually overwrite the changes in the child theme, strangely, there is still a gap between the box and screen (on mobile).

[This is how it looks]) on local machine on a raw HTML file, and [this]) is how it looks in WordPress environment.

Here is the site if you need to inspect the code: [https://creviews.org/contact-us/])
