How to filter portfolio items by category in wordpress admin?

I'm sure I've done this before but I've been drawing a complete blank for half an hour trying to get wordpress to show me only the portfolio items in one category so I can delete them in bulk.

No filters in the default portfolio view, and in the category options I can only edit the category name & description etc.

Hoping someone can give me a quick pointer.
