Hi, I make WordPress websites. I'm not looking for a full-time job, I want to make some money as a freelancer. The problem is that I can't find anyone who needs a website. I created profiles in all freelance websites I know, I've tried to talk to businesses in my area and I have offered my services in several Facebook groups, but so far I haven't had any success and I'm getting desperate. I have several websites of experience and a letter of recommendation from my former boss, but I'm still stuck without finding clients.
Create a facebook page, upload some posts of your portfolio and run ads on facebook to promote your business.
Better question, how do scammers find clients and fool so many of them with fake products and services, and they don’t sell any real products or services while there are the real deal like you and many others having to spend a lot of energy looking for customers?
Seriously, many would still fall for a web design scam instead of you because the scammer would act more real than you. They’re experienced in giving victims the energy that they’re the real deal. You can do the same same. The only difference is that you’re the real deal. Despite that, people find so many scammers instead of you, ask yourself why.
Scammers do many posts and email as well as info to make them sound real, like they operator in your area. Saying the exact type of stuff that makes customers pull their money out without fear and expectation of the real deal.
So, start doing simple advertising that you know of.
