How to find my first client?

[ad_1]

Hi guys, I am a newbie Elementor web designer and looking to get my first client. I was hoping to know how I can get my first client.

Thing is, the local approach doesn’t exactly work because I live in Bangladesh and local people wish to pay peanuts for quite a bit of work. Not to mention many don’t even believe there’s any value in having a website. Nearly every conversation feels like an uphill battle. I have tried cold email a bunch of folks but so far no response whatsoever.

I would really like to work with international clients as the dollar conversion would help a lot. So my question is how do I go about this? How do I find my first client? If I were to go for these international clients how do I find them and convince them?

I would really appreciate some advice regarding all this. Thanks in advance.

  1. UpWork takes a lot of time, can be expensive to buy credits, and can feel like an uphill battle, but I have generated roughly 20 long term clients from it.

Those clients then give word to other business owners and that’s pretty much how I grew my business.
