How to fix failed connection to the MySQL server

[ad_1]

I’m trying to create a WordPress website on a localhost for a uni project.

Im using XAMP. For installing, WordPress wants me to add a username and password for the Database, so i tried to create one. But, this is the second time I try to **change the Password of root of the localhost** and it bugs. It just kicks me out of the database and i have no idea what to do.

Has someone encountered a similar problem? Is there a way to fix it, without having to Unistall XAMP and actually create a normal password for the Database without breaking it?
