recently my sites have been blocked by my host and I cannot log in when I contacted them they said it was because of malware on the sites. They then ran a scan of my websites and that hasn’t helped much as the scan basically says that the majority of files across all of my sites are infected.
I stupidly don’t have backups of all of my sites and some haven’t been touched in a few years due to the nature of the sites.
does anyone have any advice on what I could do to fix this and get my sites back without having to start from scratch – since I can’t log in is there a way to get a backup of my site that I can clean locally?
Any advice would be appreciated by those that have been there and got their sites back and the blocks removed
I am speaking to my host and they have said that they will send me the files from my FTP – is there a way I can scan these locally I have the program local but am very open to other more effective ways
