Hello fellow WordPresslings, I’m starting a new project for which I will be designing and building WordPress websites as a freelancer.
In my mind there are two approaches:
* Selling a service: I’ll coordinate the design and implementation of the WordPress website while keeping it updated, creating backups (maybe through a 3rd party).
* Selling a product: Finishing a website and then hand off the admin rights and everything needed to be maintained and extended by someone else.
My question is about selling a product. Let’s say I built it using an Elementor Pro (I’m actually aiming for Oxygen). Does this mean that in that hand off I should warn the owner to renew the plugins that are needed for the website and then removing the licenses completely from the website?
Do you prefer any of the two approaches (product/service)?

Of course, you have to warn them about it, that’s ethical and pro.
But you better use lifetime plugin or free, that’s better for everyone.
Since it’s a recurring subscription for elementor pro , I think you should tell them get the licence and they should pay it
