I am working on a site where I will be selling digital products with Woocommerce, and I currently have 20gb of web space with my hosting platform. All of the downloads are stored in the media library and some of them are very large zip files containing a lot of folders and files. Eventually I will have a large selection of products, and the 20gb of web space won’t be enough for me to store everything, so I am trying to figure out my best plan to handle it. Will I need an different hosting solution to handle all of the file storage necessary for my site, or is a plugin like Easy Digital Downloads a better option?
I have recently found Easy Digital Downloads, and it looks like it would work perfectly for my store since I am only selling digital products, but I’d rather not purchase it if I can continue to use Woocommerce for free and still have all the functions I need.

EDD has add-ons for external hosting (AWS, DropBox). Factor in the cost of the extension and the cloud storage and compare to buying extra storage with your host.
AWS would be your most affordable solution to this, and I’d imagine you could start off with the free tier and be fine for a while.
Upload files to AWS, either with a plug-in or manually and link it in your woocommerce products.
