Although I have set my pages NOT to be children of a parent page, they are showing up as sub pages of /index.php
EG:
It’s annoying from a quick linking perspective. Is it possible to have my other site’s pages simply work as /shop and /contact?
Update: I resolved it by following these instructions https://webtalkhub.com/how-to-remove-index-php-from-url-wordpress/?expand_article=1 and changing permalink settings to post name.
