How to make a video downloadable in exchange for emails

[ad_1]

Hello! I’m trying to figure out how to make a landing page and collect email addresses in exchange for a video. The video is a masterclass.
How can I do this through WordPress? I do marketing not coding or website design but I was wondering if there’s an easy way?

  1. It’s doable. You can mimic the Funnel functionality, though it might have some limitations:

**Option A**, quick and dirty: Use a Forms Plugin (Gravity Forms, WPForms, Contact Form 7, Fluent Forms, etc.). Place it on a page, and depending on the plugin you could either:

    – Have the link sent to their mail as a response to filling out the form.
    – Have the form redirect to the linked video after filling it out.

**Option B**, a bit more polished: Use a CRM to collect the emails, and after they are subscribed, you can send them (manually or through some sequence emails) the link to the video. You could use FluentCRM, or Jetpack CRM, for example.

Both options work quite well and are easy to set, however… you do have the “issue” that the link would be public (as in, nothing will stop me after getting the link to share it with someone else that doesn’t have filled out the form).

Without any other premium plugins that are specific for that kind of stuff, those may be the most cost-effective way I can think of.

If you plan to have more than a couple of videos/links/archives to have, you could consider paying for something like that, it will save you a lot of time and headaches.

    Hope it helps!

  2. What if you had the video in Google drive and put there email as permission to view and not edit?
