How to make parent tab not clickable so user has to pick a child tab?

[ad_1]

WordPress newbie here. I’m using the Mantra theme, but I think my question is something basic that I just don’t understand.

How do I make a single parent tab not clickable, but instead the user has to pick one of the child tabs that appear when hovering over the parent tab? I’ve seen it done on another website but I cannot find the options to make that happen.

For example, I have a ‘Club Info’ tab, but I want the user to pick one of the drops down such as ‘about us’, ‘join us’, ‘newsletters’, etc.

How do I do this?
Thanks!

Dave

  1. When you say “tab” are you talking about a drop-down menu? If so, you add a parent menu item with the URL “#” then add the child items as pages.
