How to migrate content of non-WordPress database to a WordPress website

[ad_1]

What’s the best way to migrate the content (mainly blog posts) of a website running on a custom CMS to a new WordPress install?

The current CMS doesn’t have any export features, but I have access to the MySQL database.

It would be great if there was a plugin where I can simply import the SQL dump and assign the fields to the corresponding WordPress fields.

I checked Duplicator and WP Migrate, but their support informed me that these tools are not fit for my case.
