How to minify JS & CSS, without aggregating & without defer

[ad_1]

yes; untick “aggregate CSS” and “aggregate JS” and don’t tick “don’t aggregate but defer JS” 🙂

hope this helps,

Thankyou for your prompt & helpful reply.

I see the cache has started to built up.

  • Considering only minification of static js/css is done. Will Cache keep increasing?
  • will I need to clear cache everytime CSS/JS changes(i.e, when I update custom CSS/JS or update plugins)

it will settle down 🙂

no, AO “sees” if a file has changed and will create a new minified version.

That’s great. Very well thought plugin features.

One JS still shows in Pagespeed Insight Opportunities suggestion for JS Minification:

/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js

I have not added anything in exclude list.

AO historically considers /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js as minified already, as that was the case before jquery.min.js was introduced (2 years ago or so?).

But normally jquery.min.js should be used which is already minified, or are you running in script debug mode?

Thanks a lot.

You were right, scripts debug false, changed it to min.js

you’re welcome, feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! 🙂
