I have uploaded several templates using .json files and added them to the Templates tab in WordPress. I modified their design according to my personal preferences. However, I am currently facing an issue as I am unable to fully publish them. Despite the fact that the templates are marked as “published”, I cannot make any modifications to them in the Admin panel, unlike a regular page created in the “Page” tab. Additionally, I am unable to alter the URL and can only view the original permalink.
I am uncertain if I am overlooking something in this process. My intention is to utilize one of these templates as my homepage and the others for various purposes. Could you please guide me on how to accomplish this?
