how to reduce php-cgi cpu usage?

hello,

i have a small wordpress blog with not too many visitors and cpu usage of “php-cgi” is going up, usually on 2% of the allowed 5.5% on the server.

(when my site was built only with simple html the cpu usage was almost 0%…..)

i contacted my hosting company and did most of what they suggest, still the usage doesnt go down.

i tired plugins, caching, reducing pictures, and reducing post numbers per page. still no results. also i dont know how to program.

any ideas?
