How do I remove my *author name/date* from all my posts/pages?
I cant find an easy google search on the subject as everyone answers with changing CSS code…I have wordpress.com free so cant do that!
I found how to ‘remove comments’ but that’s about it. Do I need to buy a domain to have this feature to remove?

I’m pretty sure the only way around this is paying for one of their plans that allows you to do something with the site. Honestly, if you’re going to pay for anything, look into other companies for that, not WordPress .com. Those will all give you essentially unlimited functionality.
A lot of people here can give you great options for hosting companies to consider. My current job has our company site through GoDaddy 🤮, and it’s an absolute dumpster fire. They REFUSE to let me move the site to a new company though, so I just suck it up and deal with it 🤦♂️
