How to remove Avada fusion builder shortcodes in export xml files of posts?

[ad_1]

I’m trying to export posts built with fusion builder in Avada theme into a staging site built with Elementor. When I try to export the posts, it contains all the fusion builder shortcodes in the xml file and it all displays on the staging site. How can I remove these shortcodes and only keep the post content? So that I can import these posts onto my new staging site with Elementor ? Any suggestions? Thanks.

  1. In short, you can’t. In most cases, using a theme with a different page builder requires the site to be rebuilt.

  2. I had a similar issue but I did not have many posts. I pasted them into ChatGPT and asked to remove the shortcodes.
