How to save a draft version of a website?

[ad_1]

Hi, I made a staging site where I purchased a theme and spent about two weeks customizing everything. Now I realized that the theme might not work with a key plug-in I want to use.

Is there a way I can save the version of the website I made and start-over with a clean slate?

I don’t want to lose what I worked on in case I decide to go back to that style.

  1. Create a backup with UpdraftPlus. Download the zip files it creates.

You might want to instal “Local” from localwp.com and restore your backup there so that you can refer to it.

To reset your live site after backing it up, follow this guide
