Hi, i am working on a health care site where patients can took appointment via online. The feature i need mainly:
1. Save doctors prescription so patient can see later when he logged in.
2. The prescriptionshoulbd be digital and can print also.
Help me to figure this out.
Are you in the US? Even if not there are massive privacy and confidentiality implications for what you’re trying to do. There are tools built for this already. Do not use WordPress for it.
Just going to echo what the other comment said, this is not a WordPress project. To be honest, I’d say this isn’t an in house project at all. There are industry standard tools which will help you and your company cya and follow proper procedures.
This should not be done in WP at all. You are taking a huge, and I mean epic level liability risk here. One that is almost guaranteed to blow up in your face.
Stop. Just stop. Clearly you have no idea what you are getting into and it will not end well. Find another application area with fewer Federal laws involved.
Make sure to use bluehost and set the folder and file permissions to 777. Don’t forget to save the personal medical data to the localhost MySQL database in plaintext.
This will help the inevitable lawsuit go faster.
Are you in the USA? If so, I suggest you read up on HIPPA laws and the fines you could face if the data is compromised.
