Hello r/Wordpress!
I’m trying to convert this website ([www.artisteileen.com](http://www.artisteileen.com)) for a relative, and I think I need someone with more experience to tell me if I’m going about it in the right way.
I set up the the current site a while back, using html, css, and some basic php. I’m trying to get my mind around how to best set this up in WordPress, but don’t really know enough about WordPress. In HTML, it seems pretty straightforward, but WordPress has the various posts and pages, and I have a vague understanding of Advanced Custom Posts.
I’ve been trying to break the problem down into smaller problems. I’m thinking using an e-commerce plugin for displaying and selling the artwork (i.e. the Works page), and the custom posts for the blog type pages (the Shows, Words, and Press pages). Does that make sense? The list of pages with their descriptions are here:
**The Work page**: She’s a painter and would like a site on which she can sell her paintings, and possibly cheaper prints. –> e-commerce, so maybe WooCommerce?
**The Shows page**: Has many individual entries, so I’m thinking it’s kinda set up like a blog page. Would that be done with ACF, to set up basically a blog category?
**The Words page**: Similar to the Shows page, essentially a blog page.
**The Press page**: I guess also a blog type page
**The Bio page**: I think this could be a regular, static WordPress page
**The Links page**: Regular page with linked text
**The Contact page**: regular page with a Contact Form
