How to strip default theme elements from WordPress theme

[ad_1]

I created my personal site in GeneratePress several years ago. Recently, I experimented with changing its theme to the WordPress theme, Twenty Twenty-Four.

All pages converted successfully except for the Blog page. It contains the theme’s dummy content. My existing blog posts appear on the page toward the bottom.

When I open the Blog page and choose to Edit Page, none of those visual elements appear. So I don’t know how to strip the page of the theme’s pre-existing content and just have my blog posts appear.

Any suggestions?

  1. Go to appearance > editor. And go into templates and edit the blog template. 2024 uses blocks to edit its theme.
