How to Update Post Meta without create new revision?

Hello. I am developing a website for my students. It has 2 forms (with Metabox Front End Submission).

One of the forms is frontend post submission. Students can create or edit a post with it.
The other form is submitting additional information for “their latest revision.” So this is basically a feedback form for every post revision.

The problem is the second form creates a new revision. And this makes tracking users’ activity harder. How can I prevent the second form from creating a new revision?

Thank you.
