Hi WP community,
I came across an interesting project and wanted to see if anyone has built something like this in the past.
Basically, the project calls for a WP ecom site that will host 3 different vendors under one roof. One vendor sells clothes/merch, one sells cannabis-based products, the other sells art work. All 3 vendors are completely separate businesses with separate business partners etc.
To top it off, they also want to create a password protected membership portal that contains exclusive video content for customers who have monthly subscriptions.
I’ve built several sites with Woocommerce and never had to many issues with it. Woo has a plug-in called “Product Vendors” which seems like it can handle the vendor portion. Has anyone used this in the past?
Lastly, for the membership portal side I’m thinking of doing a WP multi site to separate the two builds. I’ll simply use the subdomain members.sitetitle.com. Not entirely sure which plugins I can use for a member portal yet.

Multisite with subdomains or directories is a good idea.
Though I personally find it difficult to do staging as this can get very pricy (unless done manually but it also has drawbacks), this is likely just me though.
