I have few wordpress projects going on. You could say, I handle most of the surface level work.
I do not know how to use cpanel and make technical changes to the website.
If there’re some code that needs to be included in certain files, I can do that.
But when it comes to managing the website, I have no clue. I wanna be proficient with WordPress.
How should I go about it?
I can publish, use plugins, do some general settings, add categories, and basic stuff like that but I want to be able to manage or do admin works as well when I’m needed to.
Since I also do SEO, knowing WordPress enough to perform SEO tasks would immensely benefit me.
How do I learn WordPress? Is it too late?

It’s never too late to learn something. Go on YouTube and subscribe to a bunch of WordPress channels and consume their content. WordPress is big. So you should decide which direction you want to go. More technical or marketing.
For you – it’s the right time to learn it, it’s not too late 😉
I answered recently one similar question, so I hope the inputs in that answer will help you out: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wordpress/comments/1e3o0m0/comment/ld9djqm/.
I would start with the basic:
https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/
IMHO, this is one of the best resource, covering all basic aspects: configuration, backups, performances, security etc.
I had someone show me the basics of WP and now Im able to make changes to my blog, add pages, images, SEO, prior to this I had zero knowledge so I would say basic operation is easy.
