I’ve added a connection to the homepage of the site, adding 3 language variations + the x-default, however, when I inspect the source code of the homepage there are no hreflang tags being inserted.
Is there code that must be added to the template or functions file to insert the hreflang tags into the head?
The site is being generated using Elementor Pro with Elementor’s Hello theme.

UPDATE – After resaving the options tab I am now seeing the hreflang tags being successfully inserted into the page.
