.htaccess keeps reseting itself to 444

[ad_1]

So I am having a strange problem, .htaccess keeps resetting itself to the code linked below. Both the file content and file permissions get reset
from 644 to 444.

The only reason I noticed it is because /wp-admin/tools.php give me a 403 error. I haven’t touched .htaccess since I’ve set up the site and I’m not sure what changed it to the version that is below.

Any help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I’ve included my plugins and copy of .htaccess below

* Child Theme Configurator
* Cloudflare
* Google Listings and Ads
* ImageMagick Engine
* MailPoet
* Members
* WooCommerce
* WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration
* WooCommerce Payments
* WooCommerce PayPal Payments
* WooCommerce Shipping & Tax
* WooCommerce Tree Table Rate Shipping
* Wordfence Security
* WPS Hide Login
* Zoho Mail
