I am having an incredibly hard time installing WordPress locally for the first time. Please help me (Screenshots provided)

[This is the database I created. It is called ‘carpenter’])

[This is the proof that the database is running on port 3307])

[This is the information I am providing in the localhost/wordpress page])

Please, please, any help would be appreciated, this is very, very frustrating.

  1. Upon installation you don’t have to touch the wp-config.php file. Also, it’s likely your db root password is just blank.
