We have a Woocommerce store. We need many product options for one product and we don’t want product variations, but we still need to change the price of the product.
Our plan is as follows:
1. Change the product template to include our options, think simple input fields and one image editor kind of thingy.
2. We generate an additional price based on these options and display the increased price on the product page.
3. When the user clicks on the add to cart button, the selected options are added to the cart along with the image (after validating the options and price in the backend, of course).
4. The image, options and modified price are displayed in the cart.
We need the simplest possible solution for this one product, it doesn’t need to be generic at all. For example, options can be hard coded into the template.
I would like to know how difficult and time consuming it is to create this. The price generation and the option selector interface can be considered done, but we have no idea how much of a problem the rest will be.
I’m just asking for an estimate of how many days it would take a full stack developer who has never worked with WordPress at all yet.

edit: I know there are plugins which can add custom options and change the price even for simple products (for example this one). Some of these would work but my problem is the fact that we need that custom image editor thingy which you can imagine as a full screen product customizer which also should be able to change the product options. So no plugin other than woocommerce can be considered in my opinion because even if they can do everything I need, I still need to reproduce what they can do inside of this editor thing.

Would using a product bundle plugin work for you? The user could choose which options of the bundle they’d like and it will add them all to the cart.
