I am redesigning a friend’s website. It is ranking high on google so I cannot delete pages. Problem: anything i now make in elementor does not show on preview nor when I publish page. More info in the description.

As I said, it’s a delicate situation and I cannot do a fresh install. There are more dominant css options set somewhere. I can see the widgets themself (titles, buttons, etc) but I cannot make any aesthetic changes. What should I look up?
