I am using WordPress to create a website for some users I already have in a database, I was wondering if there’s a way to leverage my existing db?

I know there are plugins to stylize the wp login but I don’t know of any way to leverage an existing db to create the users from there, I’m not even sure what to look for so I am kinda lost, would anybody know by any chance or point me in the right direction?
