I don’t even know what form plugin I’m using…🤦🏼‍♂️

I’m embarrassed but I built a WP LMS site as a newbie and I currently have a FORM created on multiple test courses that don’t render any emails to the email I input when testing & don’t know which of the two I have is there. WPForms or Contact Form 7. Any clever way to find out besides uninstalling? I tried that and no affect to the plug-in button on LP. I assumed one of those would make it disappear.

I love the layout and style, appears free, and it’s integrated into the top of my LearnPress course but doesn’t work. Need to discover what it is to learn how to fix.

  1. If the form was embedded with a shortcode, disabling the plugin will make the form disappear.

Can you get to the place in the backend where the form is added to the page? If it’s a shortcode, the syntax may give a clue.

Also check the source of the page, sometimes the html of the form will give a clue.

  2. Thank you! Wasn’t able to decipher but your recs lead me to searches and decided to remove both plugins for the time being. Whatever form is still on LP and my “contact form” on my contact page isn’t really necessary.
