Hello everyone, so I’m currently using wordpress to design my own business website.
on wordpress there are few options , [mywebsite.com](http://mywebsite.com), [mywebsite.wordpress.com](http://mywebsite.wordpress.com) etc..
I read somewhere that if I use .com on my website via wordpress I have a lot of limitations, if I use any random domain website, for example I take the domain [mywebsite.com](http://mywebsite.com) from porkbun or namecheap am I still limited while editing in wordpress?
another question : where is the best place to buy domain from?
there are so many answers for it but I’m pretty confused, what is the difference between them and how can I know which one will be the best for me?

Only WordPress.com limits features behind a paywall. Hosting anywhere else gets you the full, open source version, with full ability to install whatever plugins, themes you want.
