I have a few questions about Gravity Forms I was hoping someone could help with

[ad_1]

My company’s website has an application for (prospective) clients. This form is multiple pages and has some information which I want to reuse in the form.

The first page is where the use inputs their information.
The second page is where the use input information for each of their household members

Later in the application there is an income section where the user needs to discuss the income for each family member. What I would like to do here is create a dropdown list to select one of the family members listed on page 2, rather than having the user re-enter the user’s information.

Taking it further, this income information populates an income verification pdf which is sent along with the application. I would like to be able to link the selected family member’s SSN to add to the income verification.

The site uses the Gravity Forms Fillable PDF plugin to enter the web form values into pdf documents. I do have access to the GravityWiz plug-ins if one of them will help with what I want to accomplish.

To better illustrate what I mean:

* Joe fills out the application and enters his information on page 1
* On page 2 Joe enters his wife Jane, their 2 kids (Jack and Jill), and Joe’s father Bob.
* For the income section, Joe needs to enter his job, his wife’s job, and his father’s social security
* What I would like is for each income source to have a dropdown box which has Joe, Jane, Jack, Jill, and Bob. He then fills in the information about the income source.
* When the form is submitted, It generates an income verification PDF for Joe’s job, one for Jane’s job, and one for Bob’s Social Security.
* My goal is to have Joe’s income verification form go back to page 1 or 2 and grab his SSN, his wife’s form grabs her SSN, and his dad’s form grabs his SSN.

Currently the application provides all the information for the income verification PDFs, but the user has to re-enter the person’s name and SSN in the income section.

  1. Is there a reason why you don’t want to create a page with all the information for a family member together on one page? Then you just ask how many family members they have, and use a conditional pathway to show them that same page the required number of times.
