I’ve been managing a WordPress multisite for the past five years and the client has a new developer that’s going to migrate it to another platform. Fine. I set up their username for super admin access and then emailed them. “It’s ready!” (For her access)
She emailed back saying “I literally have no idea how to login.”
I don’t think this is going to end well.

Just write back and say “I don’t know how either!” – you’ve just fixed the glitch. 🙂
Inform your client that you will be billing your usual consulting rate if the other developer needs support. Don’t bill the other developer, bill the client.
Add the owner in the mails between you and her. That way he can folow whats going on.
