Hello, your best bet is the local copy of the backup, is it a zip file? Can you look into it and tell me what files / folders are in it?
Already tried saving the data restored in the cache, I also search through the Wayback Machine, to recover the largest amount of data.
Please as I said tell me about your backup file.
@benniledl The local file only has some folders an index, the folders there are one with the name of one of the pages, it has css, js and html . The other folders are: wp-content-themes-“custom theme”-assets. With all settings, style and js. The last one in from wp-includes, with css and js folders.
To restore your site you need these two files and one folder:
(database file, can be named anything but usually ends with .sql)
wp-config.php
/wp-content/
Do you find them in there?
The folder does not exists
Did you find the sql file?
In the /wp-content/ folder there are all the themes, plugins and other content from your site. Can you find somthing similar?
For example my wp-content folder includes these folders:
languages plugins themes upgrade uploads
Maybe your backup plugin just got rid of the name wp-content and placed everything in the same folder.
Only CSS, HTML and JS folders, SQL folder does not exists
Can you post a few screenshot of the folders so I can get a better idea of it?
You need to upload them to a free image hosting site and then post the link here.
This is the folders i have
sorry I can’t see anything in this small picture, please upload it to a service like https://imgbb.com/ and then post the link
This backup seems corrupted, it sadly won’t help you with restoring your site.
Try contacting your webhost, they should have backups of your website.
