I renewed MySQL, but I still get the “Error establishing a database connection”

[ad_1]

I put up a small website a couple of years ago, and for some reason the owner totally forgot to renew the database service and the site went “Error establishing a database connection” for like 10 days. Luckily I noticed in time and had like 30 days left before losing everything, so I paid the renewal of the database myself. Problem is that the provider now says the DB is online and active for another year, but I still see the error when I go on the website. I checked for my credentials in wp-config like 99.100% of people say, but that’s not the issue. Should I be worried now?
