i set it up probably around 2016. changed wp-admin to something else as it was advised better security. was working fine. but forgot it what that address is to login to wp backend. recently noticed the site would not load/ was not functioning. facebook plugin error. got access to cpanel and files. accessed plugin folder. changed folder name of any social plugin with hope that site would maybe then load in some capacity as the plugin would maybe bypassed and not produce errors. it didnt. page then brings up different errors. moved all site files into new folder called ‘old’ then extracted 2016 auto backup zip file to replace site. more errors.
regardless the site needs a complete overhaul. i would like to salvage some of the text from each page such as about us, services business provides etc. they are stored in the sql db i guess? how can see this and copy and paste out of it? any help would be very much appreciated. shame on me for my sloppiness with it all.
i screwed up. site down. cannot login. need to salvage page text but how? please help

I guess you let your WordPress site die over time. Since you cannot log in, it was not updated and someone just exploited a vulnerability. It could most probably be fixed. If you need help, DM me.
Should be able to access phpmyadmin through cpanel. All texts of pages should be found in wp_posts table.
You can deactivate all plugins in the active_plugins table within the wp_options table to see if that at least allows the page to show to start troubleshooting.
If you used a plugin for the wp-admin change, this will hopefully let you log in. Then start activating the plugins one by one (except for the wp-admin change) to at least view the page content to start rebuilding.
Just be sure to make a DB backup just in case.
