I used imagify to make all images into wepb but now quality is awful, could i revert to a previous backup?

My fear is as follows, since i redid all images on my site, would going back to an old backup potentially break anything?

I made changes to attributes, added new products and received orders. How can i save all of this to not lose it. Would it be worth it to go back to the old backup or what should i do?
