I want to make an animation that progresses when you click a button.

So let’s say i have a gif or whatever. If i have a 3 second animantion and i want it to play for lets say 1 second after you click a button, stop and then if you reclick the button it plays the last 2 second and stops. How do i do this button interaction? The format of the animation can be whatever since im doing it on blender.
