List view, by default, only shows 5 events. You can use the count parameter to change the number of events.
As a side note, I would recommend not using the startdate option in this way, unless you specifically only want to show events from 2023. Eventually you will need to edit your shortcode to avoid only showing past events. I suggest using pastdays instead.

Wow that was fast. I want to use it for a club website with a yearly events list. Currently they create a PDF in which all events are listed. 🙂
I think the documentation is wrong then:
Number of events to display, e.g. count="5". By default, all upcoming events will be displayed. Applies in list view only.
