Hi @abitofmind,
Quick reply here 🙂 I am reading/checking everything, all the time.
I am very quick to reply to simple questions. But recently, much slower to reply to more complex ones. I prefer to make 99 users happy and 1 user less happy than the contrary 🙂 Sorry if it sounds weird or bad, but I know it will make sense for you.
These past few weeks, I have been receiving around 70-80 messages every day for my WP-related work, I still need to debug/fix/code and… believe it or not, I have also other technical projects which I need to take care of. It’s kind of a crazy situation.
Of course, I have seen your messages, and appreciated you did a thread that compiles all the links to the other thread. However, that would be quite some work for me to reply to all this, it’s not as simple as just replying. It will take me hours, which I don’t have. To be honest, if I had one hour I could spend for something, I would take a walk outside (didn’t for 2 months currently).
To be honest, I have nooooo idea how to handle it. I try to look for someone to help me with the support, but nobody can do it. I asked some professionals for recommendations for all this, and I have been told to hire some employees to do the programming and that I should be the face of everything, which is to reply to everyone; but that will decrease the overall quality of everything I do. Not ideal neither.
So yeah, I need to reduce/simplify the support here, but of course, I have no control on the flow, anyone can write as much as they want anytime. On my side, it’s just me and I can’t write as much as I want all the time 🙂 I am trying to make the balance “sane”.
If you want to help a bit, what you could do is to create one thread for each question. One thread = a single/simple topic. That way, people can find it later, and refer to it if needs to be.
I am sorry for this reply, but it would not be nice not to tell you anything at all 🙂 And sorry for not reply to all your threads yet.
